Yellow, as well as red and orange are key colors this season. While watching some of the shows for SS19, it instantly reminded me of the Rubik's Cube! Color blocking is a major theme amongst many designers this season. Pure pigmented cobalt blue also dominated the runway shows like Kenzo and Balenciaga. Color blocking with very rich hues, like cobalt and orange are bold and fun, but even pastel pinks or mint greens as seen in the Marc Jacobs show are perfect combinations to achieve the look. This Spring I’m excited about pairing cobalt blue with neon and accessorizing with a tie dye sandal or bag to complete the look.
