I discovered Bar Hugo last summer. I randomly googled in search for a good happy hour spot with a view and Bar Hugo was the most appealing choice. Bar Hugo is inside the newly built Hugo Hotel in the South Village, with a view that overlooks the water and city. Not only are their happy hour craft cocktails reasonable, they’re strong and definitely worthwhile! The Rooftop is very stylish and features artwork from Drake to Basquiat, with blown-glass pendants hanging from the ceiling. I met three of my girlfriends there and we enjoyed catching up, cracking jokes and watching the sunset, which happens to be an amazing view from the rooftop. This is the perfect place for a warm spring or summer evening!
